An opportunity to work within our growing deep-sea import LCL team. We are looking for a bright enthusiastic individual who has had at least 2 years general forwarding experience, fluent in Mandarin and English. Do you have FBA experience? We process thousands of Amazon shipments per month. Working alongside our 5 China offices you will be managing all aspects of the consolidation, and we ensure that full onsite training is provided. We will focus on the customs systems, CNS, Destin8, such as manifesting, out gating, releasing, customs clearance, final mile delivery and costing of your shipments covering purchases and final billing.
At Unisystems we manage all aspects within our business and offer training throughout. In the first few weeks, you will have the chance to spend time working alongside the customs, warehouse / transport and accounting teams to help you understand the process within our business and the relevance within your team.
Have you ever been inside a container / warehouse, have you seen the freight you are customs clearing, have you ever dealt with Border Force? You will have the opportunity to deal with all these aspects and experience them. We are a one stop shop with all customs clearance, border force examinations, container unpacks and delivery happening on site.
Our Head Office is proud to be recognised within HMRC having achieved ETSF, Bonded, FHDDS and Full AEO Customs and Security accreditations in our onsite, 50,000 sqft warehouse. We manage everything within our own teams / warehouse whilst training and promoting within our business offers the greatest of opportunities and we are proud to have staff retention over 23 yrs alongside a young enthusiastic team with vision and drive to succeed.
Key Responsibilities

  • Arranging air, sea & road import bookings
  • Dealing with overseas offices & partners
  • Working start to finish on files
  • Processing sales & purchases
  • Updating new client bookings in shared drives with pricing.
  • Looking after key accounts
  • Raising Invoices
  • Managing direct client accounts
  • Ensure customer queries and complaints are resolved efficiently and effectively in line with our policies and procedures.
