Senior Integrated Photonics Engineer

We are seekingmultiple experienced IC Designerswho are looking for an opportunity to develop groundbreaking quantum-based sensors.


You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects that are fundamentally reshaping magnetic sensing capabilities, with the potential to revolutionise several industries.


Following several award wins, grant funding, and a £1.9 million Seed Investment, our client is poised for an exceptional 2025. With deep expertise in magnetic sensing, semiconductors, and AI, you’ll be joining a skilled and accomplished team at a period of significant expansion.


The Role

We are open to considering engineers at various levels of seniority. You’ll be involved in every step of the IC design process, from the initial concept to production silicon.


This includes contributing to the specification and architectural development, working on Analog IC Design, supervising layout, and helping with validation, testing, and final product release.


You will be joining a tight-knit and experienced R&D team in what will be a busy, hands-on environment, offering you an exciting challenge to continue developing your design skillset.


To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in electronics engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Analog/Mixed signal CMOS circuit design.
  • Analog IC design fundamentals on sub-micron CMOS processes, including knowledge of low geometry physical design.
  • The ability to work independently on block-level implementation and verification.
  • The ability to demonstrate a holistic view by considering packaging technologies and layout trade-offs during the design process.
