As a key member of the Operations team, youwill ensure our company adheres to regulatory standards, industrybest practices, and internal policies. This includes overseeing ourISO27001 certification, risk management framework, GDPR compliance,export controls, and internal auditing processes. You will play acrucial role in maintaining the integrity of our operations as wecontinue to grow and expand globally. You will join our talentedteam, located conveniently close to Westminster, St James Park andVictoria stations, with considerable flexibility around workingfrom home. As part of a dynamic, innovative team, you will make asignificant impact by shaping and enhancing our compliancelandscape. What youll bedoing Key Responsibilities: * ISO27001 Compliance & InternalAuditing: o Lead and maintain ISO27001 certification, includinginternal audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvementinitiatives. o Conduct regular internal audits, identify areas forimprovement, and implement corrective actions. * Risk Management: oDevelop, implement, and manage the companys risk managementframework. o Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks acrossall business functions. o Collaborate with leadership to align riskmanagement practices with company objectives. * Data Protection& GDPR: o Support the companys compliance with GDPR and otherdata privacy regulations. o Conduct data protection impactassessments (DPIAs) and ensure privacy by design and default acrossproducts and services. * Export Control: o Work with the Legaldepartment and Head of Operations to create and maintain aneffective framework to monitor compliance with export licenses. oDevelop a robust system to maintain evidentiary documents andpolicies to support regulatory audits. o Work with Operations,Legal and Finance to create an effective program for KYC/Bscreening. * Regulatory Compliance & Governance: o Work withrelevant departments to ensure regular review and maintenance ofcompany policies, procedures and training to ensure adherence tolegal and regulatory requirements. o Prepare and present reports asnecessary to senior management, the Board or Audit Committee. Whatwere looking for * Proven experience in a senior compliance role,ideally within a software, cybersecurity, or technology company. *In-depth knowledge of ISO27001, GDPR. * Experience conductinginternal audits and managing risk frameworks. * Some knowledgeand/or experience of export control regulations and licensingrequirements, specifically as they may relate to cryptography orinformation security systems. * Strong understanding of UK, EU, US,and international regulatory environments as they apply to thebusiness. * Exceptional communication and stakeholder managementskills. * Relevant certifications such as CISM, CISSP, ISO27001Lead Auditor/Implementer, or similar are highly desirable. *Ability to work independently while collaborating acrossdepartments.
