Key Contributions You’ll Make:

  • Establish and maintain internal controlsto safeguard company assets, including project controlling.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentationof accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Prepare and maintain forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
  • Monitor and manage cash flowto ensure liquidity and financial stability.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including long-term financial planning
  • Lead our multi-national financial workstreams across geo’s like UK, USA, and Germany
  • Ensure compliancewith all regulatory requirements and internal policies, including audits and tax filings.
  • Support fundraising activities, including investor relations and pitch preparation.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendationsto optimize business performance and support decision-making processes.
  • From Fx, to insurance, to transfer pricing, to inventory, to beyond, you’ll develop and implement financial strategiesthat support the company’s growth.

Requirements

Three Core Attributes We’ll Use to Compare Candidates:

  • Experience leading major finance arenas in fast-growing company, including analytical expertise
  • Fantastic communication skills, including the ability to build and mentor a finance team and convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Roll up your sleevesto handle even mundane tasks, like monthly reconciliation, and ensuring suppliers are paid on time

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Bachelor'sdegreein Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification(e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experiencein a financial role, preferably in a tech startup or high-growth company.
  • Strong experiencein financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience with multinational accounting and financial planning
  • Advanced proficiencyin financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
  • Familiarity with hardware companies, especially
  • In-depth understandingof financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience managing audits and tax filings.
  • Proven abilityto develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth.
  • Strong business acumenwith an understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

  • Experience with deeptech industriesis a plus.
  • Experience with global supply chain
  • Experience with procurement, and improving finance tech stacks connection to procurement and inventory
  • Experience with inventory management
  • German language skills
