Qioptiq Photonics Limited (An Excelitas Technologies Company) is a leading global supplier of opto-electronics and photonic products present in a variety of markets from medical and biotechnology to semiconductor and industrial markets, based in Hamble, Hampshire.

We are currently seeking a Finance Business Support Analyst which is an exciting opportunity to undertake in depth financial analysis, business/scenario modelling and forecasting to drive value across the business and provide assistance, as required, in other areas of the Finance Department.

Main duties:-

Preparation of monthly Management Operation Reporting (MOR) data including forecasting costs and CAPEX streams Undertake detailed financial analysis across the various revenue streams of the business and analysis of the associated costs. Drill into the analysis, discuss with teams across the business, and present the findings of the analysis: enabling the business to make commercial and strategic decisions based on sound analytical evidence to drive increased revenue, control cost, improve margins and create shareholder value. Work with stakeholders across the business to fully understand non-financial KPIs which drive financial performance. Involvement in the budget setting and re-forecasting cycles and monitoring with respective budget holders within the business. Help to design and improve various processes (financial & non-financial) across the business streams to improve communication and efficiency across teams.

The successful candidate will possess the follow:-

Experience in a manufacturing company. An accounting qualification such as CIMA or similar is desirable  Strong analytical skills – experience in financial due diligence/commercially focused financial analysis Strong commercial business acumen – ability to understand key business drivers Variance Analysis Excellent attention to detail Highly organized with excellent time management skills and able to work to tight deadlines. Good written and verbal communication Computer literate - Familiarity with MS Office software Flexibility and resourcefulness Effective team worker Experience with SAP Cost Calculations for Cost Elements / Material
