Quantum Research Engineer

IC Resources is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join a Cryptographic start-up in the UK. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, R&D – cryptography and photonics, Commercial, and Marketing, to deliver innovative, customer-driven solutions.

Your primary responsibilities will include delivering proofs of concept, prototypes, and use cases, as well as providing technical support to ensure our products solve key customer challenges. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring that our client's solutions meet customer requirements and provide secure computing environments.

As an FAE, you will also be the key technical contact for customers, helping them successfully integrate and deploy technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of both the product and the customer’s needs to ensure seamless solution delivery that aligns with the company’s objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role
  • Strong understanding of cryptography from UI to chip level. 
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
