Responsibilities The UK Sales District Manager is responsible to lead the sales team to overachieve sales goals while maximizing the profitability of the business. The focus is to develop and grow the business in the UK aligned with the sales plan. To achieve this, the manager should be able to drive and coach the team in several critical areas: Business & Account intelligence: Understand & provide visibility of customer programs, major opportunities for the coming 1 to 3 years. Strategic Engagements: Create plans to develop our strategic engagements with customer executives, enabling alignment with various Keysight organizations on major opportunities at an early stage in the customer’s buying process to maximise the chances of our success. To constantly drive the team to have a broad approach to selling our complete portfolio through the systematic prospection of their accounts for new solutions, software, and services opportunities. Coaching the team to increase the mix of Software, Solutions & Services. Pro-actively prospecting assigned accounts to develop business and find opportunities for engagement. Selling intangibles (consultancy, TAAS, value added services) Ensure the account managers can create account and business plans that drive growth and engagement across the Keysight organisation. Be a coach to the AM’s in critical negotiations. Take a global account manager role of one of the key AD accounts. Coach the team to forecast accurately, to give visibility of upside deals over at least a 6- month period. Coach team to excel in funnel, opportunity, and deal management. Develop and maintain a network of key customer leaders from across a range of key industry leaders. Utilise the Keysight Leadership Model to drive a growth mindset across your organisation, create and develop a diverse and inclusive team of enthusiastic winning sales professionals. Qualifications Key Metrics: Deliver on plan (Quota Achievement) Solutions and services growth Drive a blend of sales, revenue and order shipment priorities with positive order linearity. Candidates should have a successful Test & Measurement sales experience in selling to the UK T&M market (minimum 5 years) with the Sales experience including selling to major accounts. An excellent understanding the electronic T&M design & test market in the UK Track record in major account management, solutions & services selling. Additional Metrics: Leadership skills to drive a major account sales team Passion for change management to adapt to business conditions. Strong communications skills for both external & internal interactions Ability to travel (50%) Due to industry legislations UK National citizenship required.
