Microbritt specialises in precision micro-manufacturing, using patented CNC micro-milling technology to produce high-quality components for industries such as healthcare, semiconductors, and photonics.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist / Technician to join our team, working with advanced micro-milling technology to manufacture complex components with precision. This role offers the opportunity to engage in technical sales meetings, contribute to post-machine bonding processes, and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Programming and operating CNC Inventor machines to produce high-precision components.

  • Adjusting and optimizing CNC milling processes for efficiency and accuracy.

  • Working with brittle materials such as silicon, glass, and thermoplastics.

  • Conducting quality checks to ensure components meet industry standards.

  • Participating in technical sales meetings, providing expertise on machining capabilities.

  • Handling post-machine bonding processes to enhance component durability.

  • Developing and writing SOPs to standardise machining and bonding procedures.

  • Troubleshooting and maintaining CNC equipment to minimize downtime.

  • Collaborating with engineers to refine machining techniques and improve production.

  • Following health and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

    Requirements:

  • Experience in CNC machining, preferably in micro-manufacturing but no essential.

  • Knowledge of CNC Inventor machine programming and precision milling techniques.

  • Ability to work with delicate materials and maintain high accuracy.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in technical sales discussions.

  • Experience in post-machine bonding techniques (preferred but not required).

  • Ability to write and implement SOPs to improve processes.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
