A market leading engineering organisation are looking to add a Junior Software Engineer - C# / WPF to join their growing R&D team in Livingston, Scotland. This well-established business are commutable from part of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Falkirk and other areas in the Lothian area(s). They offer hybrid working and have a team of supportive software engineers to help you with your ongoing training and development within the business. The company develop state-of-the-art instrumentation and their complex products are sold all over the world. They are one of the market leaders in their industry and are growing year on year. Due to growth they are looking to add a Junior Software Engineer to join their team. As a Junior Software Engineer - C# / WPF you will be responsible for working on the full product life-cycle for applications and back end software, from concept through to manufacture. In this role you will continuously play an integral role in the development of high-performance applications for life scientific, medical and nanotechnology Skills / Experience we're looking for from a Software Developer / Engineer: To have obtained a relevant Computer Science or Software Engineering focused degree or similar. Experience in programming using C# / WPF for a user interface. Exposure to database management (such as SQL or similar). Some experience with low-level embedded programming would be beneficial but not essential. Expectations will vary depending on your industrial / commercial experience so far - recent graduates and engineers / developers with some experience are welcome to apply.
