Associate Director - Dispute Resolution
North West or Yorkshire
£90,000 to £100,000 + package

I'm working in partnership with a well-respected multi-disciplinary construction consultancy that's built a reputation for being one of the leading names in construction dispute avoidance and resolution. Their work spans across expert witness, adjudication, arbitration, and a range of project and commercial management services within the UK's building sector.

As part of their continued growth in the UK, they are now seeking an Associate Director with proven experience in adjudication work to join their team in either the North West or Yorkshire. The is a rare opportunity to play a key role in high-profile, complex disputes and become part of a professional, busy team.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the preparation and submission of adjudication referrals and responses on behalf of clients
Provide strategic commercial advice during pre-dispute and live project stages to help avoid or mitigate disputes
Act as subject matter expert in adjudication-related matters internally and externally
Support or act as Expert Witness, working alongside legal teams and preparing detailed technical reports
Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal training programmes on dispute resolution best practices

Required Experience:
Strong track record in construction adjudication, either as a representative or decision-maker
Ideally MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent (legal qualifications also welcome)
Background in quantity surveying, project management, or a related discipline
Comfortable engaging at senior levels and managing complex, high-value disputes
Excellent report writing and analytical skills
