As a QEC Researcher (Algorithms) at Riverlane, you will work on quantum algorithms and their implementation on future fault-tolerant quantum computers. As the Chief Architect for Developer Tools, you will lead the technical direction for Quantinuum’s quantum software tools, working closely with hardware teams to ensure the software stack is scalable and optimized. You will mentor senior engineers, set coding standards, and drive the technical roadmap to deliver robust, production-ready systems.
This role involves developing and deploying calibration and performance characterization software for QuEra’s neutral-atom quantum computers. You will design efficient experimental routines, build data-analysis pipelines, and optimize machine performance, working closely with physicists, software engineers, and hardware specialists.
Design and develop microfabricated Paul traps for scalable quantum computers, focusing on electromagnetic and thermo-mechanical simulation, layout optimisation, and collaboration with fabrication partners.
