As a QEC Researcher (Algorithms) at Riverlane, you will work on quantum algorithms and their implementation on future fault-tolerant quantum computers. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contribute to academic research, and optimize quantum circuit compilation for specific QEC primitives.
This role involves hands-on work on real hardware challenges, contributing to the development of large-scale quantum systems. You will rotate through three technical domains, such as experimental quantum hardware, IC validation, and intelligent automation, gaining practical lab-based experience and working on projects like designing and validating quantum devices, testing integrated circuits, and characterising superconducting electronics.
As a Senior Quantum Engineer, you will develop and execute experiments on silicon-based quantum computing systems, focusing on ultra-low-power microwave qubit control and readout electronics. You will work closely with a world-leading team of quantum engineers and researchers, contributing to the development of scalable quantum computers based on silicon technology.
